In August of 2019 I had the pleasure of photographing Jordan and Claires urban wedding. The ceremony took place in Sheffield Town Hall surrounded by friends and family, sharing this happy occasion. After the ceremony I organised a few group shots at the front of the town hall. We toured Sheffield City Centre in the sunshine, starting in the idyllic surroundings of the Winter Gardens then walked through the Millennium Gallery. I posed the lovely couple in front of many of Sheffield's famous street art by Jo Peel and Rob Lee. Then catching some candid moments outside Tamper Cafe. Before venturing down to The Washington; where the couple first met. We were welcomed in by the owner and had a free drink on the house! I feel privileged to be able to share some relaxing time with just the couple, prior to the reception as it's important for them to have time to reflect on the day. Jordan and Claire's alternative style, from his Dr Martens to her beautiful Disney inspired shoes lead to some unique photos; making my job really enjoyable. Jordan even had some amazing Sheffield United themed cufflinks of the blades and even a printed football shirt. I adored Jordan and Claire as they loved the urban shoot I planned for them prior to their day. The week before I walked around Sheffield taking photos of the locations I wanted to take them to (This is very important in street photography as urban landscapes are constantly changing). They expressed to me that they loved how I capture iconic points of Sheffield in my work and that was extremely important for their photos.
